Miguel Coma speaks below on the energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions of 5G.

He currently works as an IT Architect, writer, speaker and consultant. After two decades in Information and Communication Technologies, Miguel began researching their impacts on our climate, environment and health. He collaborates with an international network of experts in engineering, physics, biology, environmental sciences and philosophy to support his work. He writes, speaks and consults about 5G wireless technology, and contributed to the engineering research on 5G energy usage at the UCLouvain university, Belgium. Miguel writes about technology and the environment for Wall Street International magazine. He published an extensive independent report on 5G and a carte blanche in the national newspaper l’Echo, co-signed by personalities and organizations demanding to deploy 5G in a sustainable way. He provided technical and environmental advice to 5G experts of the Wallonia government, of the Brussels Region Citizens’ 5G Committee, and is a member of the AlterNumeris think-tank.
